MRI

MRI rooms often require specialized panels with radiofrequency (RF) shielding properties to prevent external electromagnetic interference.

These RF shielding panels can be part of the construction of the MRI suite.

Description

In MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) environments, bedboards or patient tables are typically made of non-metallic materials such as carbon fiber,

polymers, or composite materials. These materials are non-conductive and do not interfere with the magnetic fields generated by the MRI machine.

Additionally, they are lightweight, durable, and provide a comfortable surface for patients.

Using non-metallic materials helps avoid artifacts in the MRI images and ensures the safety and effectiveness of the imaging process.
